Dr. Choi earned his dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Evanston Hospital before pursuing an intensive three-year residency in implant dentistry at Loma Linda University. There, he received advanced training in bone grafting, sinus augmentation, implant surgery, and implant prosthodontics. He later spent 13 years in private practice in Pusan, South Korea, where he further refined his clinical judgment and broadened his perspective through extensive real-world experience.

In 2014, he returned to the United States to complete a second full-time specialty residency in Endodontics at the University of Southern California. This unique background gives Dr. Choi an unusually comprehensive perspective on tooth preservation, treatment planning, and long-term dental health. Following dental school, Dr. Park completed four years of advanced specialty training in restorative dentistry and endodontics, with particular emphasis on endodontic microsurgery. She then practiced for six years in Korea as a board-certified endodontist, building a strong reputation for technical excellence and thoughtful patient care. Driven by a commitment to continue growing at the highest level, Dr. Park moved to the United States and completed additional specialty training in Endodontics at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry.

During that time, she also earned a Master of Science in Oral Sciences and conducted research focused on endodontic instruments, further strengthening her evidence-based approach to treatment. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Illinois at Chicago, before gaining valuable experience in private general practice.

Driven to deepen his expertise, Dr. Kim returned to UIC to complete advanced specialty training in endodontics, earning both his Endodontic Certificate and a Master of Science in Oral Sciences. His research—focused on how systemic medications impact root canal success—has contributed to advancing the field and earned national recognition, placing him among the Top 10 highest-scoring postgraduate research presenters in endodontics.

Dr. Kim is an active member of leading professional organizations and is currently pursuing Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of care.
